No water pressure help?

Filled up my water tank turned on pump but no pressure? I hear the pump running like there is no water in the tank. Is there some valve somewhere I missed? 2017 Jayco 273 just picked up

What do you have your valves set to? Mine need to be set to normal to use the water in the tank. Click image for larger version

Should be right where you hooked up to fill the tank

There is valves somewhere, you just need to find them.

Open all your hatches, look everywhere. You’ll find them.

Any luck? Your dealer should have showed you where everything was.

It might help if we knew what a Jayco 273 is. Is it a 5th wheel or travel trailer. He may not even have a docking station and could have simple gravity fill on his water tank in which case the valve from the tank feed to the pump might be closed from winterization.

That happened to me once and the solution was to pour about a cup of water down the antifreeze pick up tube (need a small funnel). After my RV sat all winter it just needed a little priming.

This is what I am thinking. It was winterized. I could not find the valve. Will have to dig deeper or call Jayco. Nothing easily visible. Dealer was closed by the time I found issue. Thanks for all the suggestions

Follow the sound to where the pump is running, there may be a valve near the pump with about a foot of clear tubing that is open on the end, used for winterizing, if left open it will just suck air, close valve and it should draw water.

Called Jayco this AM. Apparently, there was a "secret" compartment under the sink area I had to access to turn the valve. Would have never of found it on my own. At least nothing was broken and worked properly once corrected. My last RV did not have a valve, you just removed the hose. Now I know!

Glad you found it! On some models, you have to reach your hand into a hole and turn, others you have to remove a #2 screw to open a hidden compartment.

My HTT, you could open a door, that hid a panel, which blocking access except for a small hole to reach your hand through. It looked pretty, but absolutely a pain. I knocked the panel out. Now can see my pump, the sediment screen (clean it once a year), and my antifreeze, bypass hose &/valves. It is so much easier now!
