Oven burning the counter top ...

just outside of the vent.

(what I do with them pics)

well, other than the obvious , Do not turn it up that high :-)
Seems my oven dial is - 150+ degrees off from the actual temp in the oven.
And here I thought I was just a bad baker till I got an oven thermometer.

I have had my cooktop shroud off and never saw anything like that (even on many past RV's). I wonder if the flame for the oven is too high? I am not sure, but if possible I would try to reduce the oven flame height (or oven gas pressure). Also, I may would add a metal shield to redirect the heat, although you would likely need to cut one yourself, homedepot sells metal for ductworks that may work for you. ~CA

IMO, this should be investigated by a RV tech and a report submitted to the NHTSA if it turns out to be a factory defect.

Are other flames normal, could your regulator be malfunctioning?

In my opinion you've got a serious problem.
I'd pull it out a see what causing that severe a burn. Oven flame is at bottom of oven and maybe gets a inch or so high on high.
Be safe, if you can't do it, find help.
I've never seen anything like that!!!

Is the countertop charred on the underside of the visible scorch mark?
