Painting slide out side walls

The big slides on my Whitehawk 23MRB are black and get very hot. Since we winter in AZ I would like to reduce the heat load and am considering painting the slide out side walls bright white. Any thoughts?

Just a thought, but maybe look into a white spray epoxy paint.. used on appliances, etc.. one example I can think of that I painted an old freezer with.

since you are going from black, I imagine you'll want a primer of some sort..

well not to destroy the campers value in the long run you might consider having someone put white vinyl wrap on it instead
