saw this exact issue in a friends brand new 5th wheel. mfg had installed crimp fittings on the hot water heater and used hose with worm clamps to secure the hose. the ID of the hose was much larger than the OD of the fitting. It blew off when they were away and pumped water into the unit for a few hours. Coroplast sagged and gave way from water weight....
swapped the fittings on the water heater to get the unit operational.... they took up the clean up with the dealer.
