Power awning in rain

Which power awning is on the Jayco Eagle Superlite HT 5th wheel?
Is there a way or a mod to make an adjustment to dump water?

If it is not adjustable it will dump on one side or the other. You can pull down on the bars and cause it to dump, or raise or lower the front of the trailer slightly to get it to dump on the side you prefer. With just a few different parts they could all be adjustable. I don't understand why they are not all adjustable. It just dosn't seem right, you pay extra for inconvenience.

My '12 X23B awning has adjustments on each side. One of the arms has a series of holes and a push button thingy which allows the angle of that side to be adjusted. Setting one end lower helps the dump.

Saddly they don't all have that option. Ours is adjustable and our son's isn't.

Carefree awning? It would be a lot more carefree if I could adjust it. A little rain isn't a big deal but in a downpoor, it can wreck the awning ( so the tech where I purchased the Jayco told me). Wish I knew what I know now.... Bahhhh, I still would have picked this Eagle. Just don't like the mess rain makes out of our patio....

I have a carefree elect awning that is adjustable. I'd be surprised if TT new than mine aren't adjustable. Why would Jayco put non-adjustable power awnings on TT when adjustable are available? My TT was mfg in April 2011.

It took me some effort to learn how to adjust, locate the adjustment, and then simply get the button pushed in far enough to slide the rail. After some use pressing the button and sliding the rail has become easier.

Unfortunately, I cannot find a way to adjust it. I see notches for adjustment but the buttons are fixed.

That's what I thought too, I think your is adjustable. I had to use little WD40 and lots of thumb pressure before I was able to get the buttons to work. Then it initially took a lot of effort to get the rail to slide. It is much easier now, but it took till my 3rd trip before I was convinced enough to use enough strength to move it...but I just thought I had to be adjustable and in fact it is.

From the factory my button was placed hole closes to the trailer so the awning was at it's highest point, nearly perpendicular to the trailer. Mine had 5 different positions. I generally keep 1 in the middle and the other side positioned closet to the trailer. Plenty of pitch to drain water.
