For a small light like that to blow a fuse sounds like there's a direct short on the hot wire side, to ground, either from the connections to the light itself, or the switch that controls it. I'd take them apart (if possible) and make sure any power source isn't touching the casing, or a ground wire. Of course, you can eliminate all that by getting a new one under warranty!
