Did you check the fuse near the jack? If you raise it to much it has a tendency to blow. Follow the wires from the jack back to the battery..

Good Luck.

If all else fails, use the hand crank to raise and lower the jack. The hand crank should be in one of the boots or in the package the dealer gave you.

Thanks for help. It was the 30 amp fuse. Overextended I’m assuming. Brand new jay flight love the camper. I’m sure this jack has issues it screams when raising.

Tim,
I’ve blown my main fuse by over-extending as well as by over-retracting. And your right, they ain’t quiet.

I replaced my tongue jack with a Husky 4500 pound jack 3 years ago and it is so much better then the factory one it is faster and quieter.

It also has an automatic stop feature at the end of travel and has never blown a fuse.

I would highly recommend the Husky brand jack if you are thinking about changing it out.

My old factory jack would blow this fuse all the time (I have heavy fingers)
and scream like a banshee!

Had a Barker 3500 on the 07 23RB I traded. I’ll be ordering one in near future.

I replaced my fuse with a 30 amp breaker after the fuse failed twice. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Have included a photo for you. The junction box where the breaker is placed is right under my battery tray on the front of my TT.

I had the same thing happen today. The bad thing is that when the fuse blows that also cuts off the charge line from the tow vehicle to the battery since they both go through the same fuse. Before I tracked down the fuse location I was able to raise and lower the jack by plugging into the tow vehicle. I think I will separate the two and take the jack straight to the battery since the jack has a an automatic resetting breaker built in.

I'm not sure why Jayco wires that cheap FIC-3500-2 jack the way they do. All other power tongue jacks that I've had are wired straight to the battery with an inline fuse.

Jack quit for good?

Hitching up for weekend trip and no power to jack again.
This time light works and fuse is good. I used crank and
off we went. I’m pretty sure it’s toast? Has anyone had a similar experience?
I’m debating whether to contact Jayco for replacement or upgrade jack.
