Power tongue jack will not extend, but retracts fine
On our first camping trip with our 2015 X213, the power tongue jack started giving me problems. When I hit rocker switch to extend the jack (raise the front end), I get nothing, not even a sound. However, when I hit the rocker switch the other way, to retract the jack (lower the front end), the motor engages just fine, and the jack retracts perfectly. The jack was working at the dealer when I hitched the camper up, and when I got home and unhitched the camper.
The battery is fully charged, over 13 volts. I also tried hitching my TV power up to give it extra juice, but still get nothing when trying to extend the jack.
I assume there is only 1 fuse for the motor, and if it was blown it would not work at all. I did check the two 30 amp fuses in my fuse panel and they are fine. I'm not sure if these are for the jack motor or not. I couldn't find any reference to a 30amp fuse (which the dealer said it would take) in the jack instruction pamphlet.
I have a call into my dealer, but if anyone has an idea here I'm be glad to hear it!
Thanks,
John
