Radio turns itself on.

I swear I don't believe in GHOSTS! My Radio (Jensen AWM910) turned itself on on the return trip home from camping this week. I switched it back off. And was walking by the camper this morning and it was back on. What gives?

something shares the same frequency as the remote for the radio.. Our TV does. I am not going to do anything other than keep the radio on low volume.

some radios have an alarm setting, most likely that is what it is, we had a 2012 eagle with a jenson and it did the same thing, we had it parked at a country music festival and our neighbors parked by us would here it come on at 2 in the morning when we were not there.

The remote for our DVD player (from Walmart) when watching movies turns the radio on in our 145RB - same frequency.

The radio in our first HTT did the same. Jayco sent me a replacement and the problem went away.

Our htt radio use to turn on, primarily during the middle of the night. Has not done that in years. Knock on wood.

Check the batteries in your remote.

We had this problem, and it turned out that, when the battery was low, the remote was doing weird things.

You can eliminate this possibility by just ta,ing the remote away from the radio... as iin, a long way away... or just taking the batteries out.

Our radio and tv have the same frequency remote. I solved the problem by installing a flip up vinyl cover over the radio so it wouldn't recognize the signal.

We use the TV remote to change channels, etc., but the radio only goes on or off once, so we merely stand up and flip the switch.
