replace ioata 30 amptransfer switch

burned up iota 30 amp ITS 30 RL. It is discontinued. we have had this happen twice. any suggestions what to upgrade to so this does not happen again?

I upgraded my '05' IOTA ILC-3045 (30 amp) Converter/Charger to a PD9245 (Progressive Dynamics) with the built-in Charge Wizard last year, and it has performed extremely well. I like the fact that the newer converter/chargers have added charging "stages" that better manage battery performance and increase battery life.

Ive seen a lot of threads about protecting with power surge devices. You may want to consider if the place your plugging into has anything to do with that.
