Replacement Latch for Egress Windows

So both of the egress window latches in my 26BH are broken. The J clips on the window frame snapped off very shortly after we purchased the TT. In order to keep the window closed while towing I have been taping the handle to the window frame with duct tape. I want to replace the J clips but I have only seen the entire bar and latch assembly for sale.

Does anyone know if you can order just the J clip as opposed to a complete latch assembly? Also, I would prefer to buy a steel or aluminum clip since I'm sure the plastic one will break as soon as I install it. If a better clip isn't available, does anyone have a better DIY solution?
