Replacement running light lens

I lost one of my amber running light lens. Thinking I was smart, I copied the part number from an identical light and tried to order it. I guess I needed an actual measurement and not just the “part” number (which is SAE AP 216).

My rig is stored 50 miles from my house - does anyone know how to order one of these, without my making a 100 mile round trip?

Thanks!

If your lights are LED, I found this 89-384A/89-384R: Replacement Clearance Lenses for K-51 or K-52 — Command Electronics which may be the brand of light. The number you have is a Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) number, that doesn't correlate to a part number. Jayco's been using Command Electronics lights for a while, unless they changed recently. Hope this helps.

Just be sure what you purchase is a DOT Certified LENS COVER... Otherwise you may not pass your DOT Safety Inspection...

Thanks! I may wait until I go back up and see my rig (which is near a Jayco dealer).

Ya just gotta love some of these parts sellers (Command wants $12 to ship a $3 light!)

Perhaps your dealer may have it, or will order it for you. If you can wait a bit, just have him add it to his next stock order, so there's no special shipping charge. Just a thought.

I busted a clearance light backing into the storage shed when we first bought the travel trailer. I ended up ordering a replacement from Amazon for about $10.

Fast forward a couple months. I'm traveling on business and we stopped at a Love's Travel Store somewhere in Indiana. I was killing some time in the store while the guy I was with finished up some paperwork and found the whole lamp assembly for $2.19.
