Replacemnet Tank Valve "T" Pull

A while ago a small piece of tire debris flew up and wrapped around the handle pull to the black tank valve. The "T" was broken off and other than that there was no damage.

I plan to attach a replacement "T" by drilling through the "T" handle shaft, through the aluminum pull tube and fastening it with a small cotter pin.

Anybody have any leads on where to find such a replacement "T"?

I made new ones from 3/16 steel 3/4" wide &3-1/2 long drilled 1/4 hole in the center, put on a backing nut slipped the new handle on and added another nut. I painted the 2 gray tank handles gray & the black tank valve black.
