Replacing propane regulator troubles

I'm putting a new dual tank regulator but can't get the brass outflow fitting out and can't find a new one anywhere, and can't figure out how it's called on outside it connects to 1/2" Rv hose, but on regulator the thread is smaller, 3/8" fits, but feels loose... Anyone know the part number or thread spec for it?

You should be able to remove the fitting. You might try locking the old regulator in a vise and then use a correct box end wrench to loosen the fitting. You might have to use a cheater bar to get more leverage.

Let us know if this helps.

Put some solvent or WD40 on the tread it will soften. And do as bassdogs said.

I would use a 6 point box end wrench or 6 point socket, (correct size), fitting should be available from the plumbing department at any hardware/home improvement store.
