Roof "Penny Puffs"

Our roof is just now starting to show small circular "puffs" or raised impressions that are about the size of a penny. Are these screws beginning to unseat? Is this normal? They run run left to right in a straight line pattern, across the roof, in three different locations (one row behind the ac and two rows to the front beyond the ac).

It is nail heads coming up.. from my understanding it is not a warranty issue unless it rips the membrane.

Figures... If you leave it alone, then you are likely to be OK. But then if one pokes through you will not get reimbursed because they will claim you did not inspect the roof.

And this is why it's important to report the issue to the dealer and to get a copy of the work order after they inspect it and have made a determination about repairing it or not.

The deal is, it's probably not an issue --- until it is. And documentation will prove that you reported the problem and that it started while your warranty is still in effect.
