roof problems among other things

Hi Our motorhome is a Greyhawk 31FK. We bought it new in July 2013. On May 18, while driving down the Hwy our rubber roofing pulled away from under the cap and started tearing. It tore so bad we had to have the whole rubber roofing replaced. Has anyone else ever experienced this? We spent 6 days at an RV dealership getting it taken care of. 2 Days after leaving that dealership, our 12 volt went out. No one to call on the weekend. Had to throw away all of the refrigerated food and sleep in very hot conditions had to use bottle water to flush. Motorhome is back in the shop getting that fixed. anyone experience that on their new motorhome?
There have been other issues too but these are major problems. Although it is under warranty and gets repaired I fear what will happen with it next!

I feel for you about the refrigerator. Mine was recalled and the fix was to replace the entire cooling unit. It turned out the new unit was defective, but I didn't find that out until I left for a 1-1/2 week trip to a rally in Branson, MO. Like you, I had to throw out all the perishable items that had spoiled and use a cooler for the entire trip. Upon returning home, I had only five days (Monday-Friday) that the TT would be available for repair because I was leaving on Friday evening for another campout. The place that did the warranty work had to order another cooling unit and have it installed by then. Friday came and the new cooling unit had not been delivered. Refrigerator or no, I had to have my TT back so after work, I went to the dealer to claim it. While I was there, the UPS truck pulled in and had the cooling unit aboard. It was the dealers closing time, so I asked the technician if he would stay and replace the defective one if I paid him $100 cash. He agreed. I got home with the TT around 8 PM and by the time I loaded everything and drove to the campground it was after midnight.

I thought my troubles were over, but later discovered that the refrigerator's on-off relay had overheated and became stuck in the "on" position due to the failed cooling unit. Everything in my refrigerator was now freezing. I was able to fix that one myself. I obtained a new relay, pulled the circuit board and replaced it. That was in 2003. Knock-on-wood, I haven't had any further problems with my refrigerator since then.

Sorry, I can't provide any advice concerning your other problems other than "keep your chin up".
