Samsung residential type Refrigerator not freezing properly

Our Pinnacle is only13 months old and we have been having problems with the Samsung residential Refrigerator. The freezer is not cold enough and ice maker will not work. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for reply. Per the repair tech, freezer works when the frig is pulled out of cabinet. Cabinet is very tight fit for frig. Thinking is that frig/freezer does not have enough room to circulate air to work properly.

Try unplugging it for minutes and plug it back in.
Ours quit making ice and the freezer got very cold for no reason. The tech said Samsung actually issued a technical bulletin on these models for them doing unexplained things. As he put it: the control board gets out of whack and unplugging it resets the board. So far ours has been working fine since.
If your tech unplugged it to get it out of the cabinet that's probably why it started working again

Not related to the fridge issue but we have a Samsung dishwasher in the stick n' brick that started leaking water on the floor. Out of warranty of course. Called the local Samsung service folks. Tech came out, I described the problem. He tells me problem could be caused by a defective fan and vent in the door...............OR.........the dishwasher may need a SOFTWARE UPGRADE???? He pulls out his smartphone brings up an app on it, then pushes all the keypad buttons simultaneously on the dishwasher. The dishwasher is communicating with the app, tech says he' running a diagnostic check.

Remember when appliances were simple machines.............

PS: Software upgrade unnecessary, but a new fan and vent assembly is.
Sigh.............
