Screen door replacement

Hey all,

Found this website through the Google rabbithole. Hoping you can help. We just bought a 2007 Jayflight and it needs a screen door. Previous owner took it off after it was damaged and never kept it. I've been trying to find places for screen door replacements and coming up empty.

Where can I find an entire screen door? At least the hinges are still there.

I would check with the RV manufacturer or see if you can get a used one from a dealer who takes in a lot of trades. Rescreening and new latches are easy fixes. I am not aware of any RV junkyards, but would think there are some out there. Some mobile home outlets carry RV related parts.

THe door and screen-door come as one complete assembly when the rig is built. So as was mentioned, unless you find something at a RV junk yard, I doubt you will find it anywhere else. I have never seen just a screen-door at any of the Surplus Stores over my many years of stopping in. Back in 07 Phillips was probably the manufacturer and DREW/LIPPERT bought them out years ago.

Thanks folks, that's what I was afraid of...having to buy an entire door. I'm lucky enough to have a used rv/surplus shop here in edmonton so I'll have to pay them a visit or else reverse engineer something to fit in there.
