Shower Door Sticks Closed

We've notice that when the shower door remains closed while the TT is parked in storage for 10 days or so, it sticks closed and is difficult to open. Once it has been opened it operates normally. I've inspected the seal and can't see any reason why the door would stick. While the frame is metal I can't tell whether the door seal within the opening is metal, rubber or plastic.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks in advance for any advice offered.

Stuck Shower door

What is the best way to open the stuck shower door on a Jayco fifth wheel without damaging the door.

I'm not sure why a shower door would be stuck unless the unit is out of level, causing the shower to be out of square and thereby, causing the door to jam. I think the magnetic strip tends to grip tighter the longer the door is closed. At least that's the way it is on ours.

Same here ! The longer it sets it seems to stick or hold a little more . Not a problem nice to have a good magnet when traveling

Thanks, Troutslayer and Clayton4871. My camper is a 28.5, 2013 Jayco Eagle and has been in storage for about as month due to an illness in my family. The power is disconnected. Prior to storage, the shower door worked normally. Today, I was inspecting the camper and found the shower door stuck. Sent a message to Jayco CS and posted the question on this site. Their response was to (...remove panels...").
I noticed your response mentioned magnetic strips that hold the door closed. I took a butter knife from the kitchen and pryed the top left corner of the door. That loosened the top corner of the door and I was able to open it. It has been opening and closing normally since. I cannot explain why the magnetic strip grips tighter the longer the door is closed. Guess I'll have to study up on the subject.
Thank you again for your quick response.
