Siding corroding

Hi guys and girls. I have a question on my siding I have a a jayco 27 BH g2 it's a 2005 I've owned this trailer since new the upper piece of siding is corroding and I don't know why, I wash and treat my roof twice a year and there is no holes or rips I also wash and wax the outside as well, so would you think it's from a leak or two different metals touching each other. The trailer has never been cooked in or smoked in and has no pets in it, inside is mint so I don't want to retire it yet

Welcome to the forum. Is that corrosion or from abrasion as if something rubbed against it?

Just under the awning? Anywhere else on the rig?

Welcome to the forum.

If corrosion, could the 'other' metal be on the backside of the siding?

You can order pieces of siding from a dealer. The damage in those pics appears pretty minor, are there any perforations or just surface corrosion? It may be able to be touched up with matching paint.
