Slide sitting ajar, proper solution?

Hi
We recently took our trailer to the dealer because when we closed the slide it wasn't closing completely. It was sitting out by about 1.5-2 inches. It wasn't doing this before so we assumed there is a problem.
Well the dealer just called and said the slide is working fine, but we need to tork it in with the slide lock to keep it closed tight.
Does this sound correct or are they just making excuses? Please advise.. we want it fixed correctly and we have a 7 year warrenty on all mechanical parts, so I just don't want to pick it up unless its good to go.

I have the same trailer and mine was a little out adjustment, where one corner on the top was not seating completely when the slide was retracted. The slide was low one one end. There is an adjustment bracket under the couch, I adjusted it myself using a floor jack to raise the slide to level then retightening the bracket.. I always use the slide lock because with this type of slide there is no support at the top to keep it good and tight, the mechanisim is all at the bottom under the couch. But yours seems to be not closing far enough all around? If you have not been using the slide lock it could have caused the slide to move when the trailer is flexing/turning while traveling and possibly the slide is out of adjustment.
If only the top is out by an inch or so the slide lock may bring it in.

OK thanks.. Its just out at the top. But I am seeing the dealership tec guy on Monday for him to explain it, so I will ask him about the adjustment bracket under the sofa. That is the kind of info I was looking for!
