Slide won't close

We have a 256RKS. The slide will not close. When closing, it will go about 2/3 of the way, then the top of the slide stops closing, but the bottom keeps moving inward to close.

Anyone have any thoughts???

Thanks,
Andy

Have you checked to see if there is anything jammed on top of the slide? Since the mechanism is at the bottom of the slide (assuming it's not a Schwintek) there has to be something jamming it up.

Andy, I had a similar problem a few weeks back. This link might help.

My smoke alarm dropped off the ceiling and was laying on top of my slide out roof. When my son went to open the slide, the smoke detector got jammed between the 2 rubber seals.
