Smoke detector...

My wife and I used our tt for the first time this past weekend and when we fired up the furnace, there was a stink in the air and our smoke detector went off 3 times about five minutes. Is that normal for the first use?? Had me a bit worried but then it went off and didn't come back on.

Yup! One of things to do before the maiden voyage when buying a new rv. At least you'll know that now when you buy your next new Jayco

Yup, ours does that every year the first time we use the heat. Normal. We plan ahead for it and have the doors and windows open to vent the smell quickly.
