Squeaky faucets

I have a 2018 Jay Flight SLX284BHS and the faucet handles squeak loudly. I took the handle off in the bathroom and tried to lubricate without luck. I am ready to replace both faucets. Do I need special RV faucets or can I get regular house faucets? Thanks for any advice.

Your squeak is likely in the faucet cartridge itself. You could either take the faucet apart and lubricate them with plumbers grease, or replace them completely with new faucets of your choice. Yes, they are the same as household fixtures. The bathroom sink will be 4" centers, and the kitchen sink will be 8" centers (measured between the spud holes). We replaced both of ours with better faucets from the big box store. Pretty easy upgrade.

Thanks. I was hoping I could replace them with better faucets easily. It doesn't make sense to me to spend money trying to save cheap plastic hardware. Thanks again.

I replaced all of my cheap factory white plastic faucets with brushed nickel faucets. Two took about 30 minutes. Get rid of the cheap plastic stuff if that is what you have. If they are squeaking, they will probably break soon.

As I recall there is a hole in the back of the handles. You must push them in and pull the handles off.
Mine still squeak. I lubed them but nothing worked. I plan to buy a new faucet from Lowes and install it.
Good luck.

Check Amazon for RV faucets, they have a large selection.

Thats where I got ours for $30 and love it. Although it looks like it has gone up a few bucks since we bought it. Used it daily for 8 months while we lived in the RV waiting for our home to get built and no issues. So much nicer than the one that came in the RV.
