Strange LP Line

Wondering if anyone has seen this before and might know why it was done this way. It's the LP line from under the trailer coming out about a foot and making a big loop before going back in. It actually has a strip of steel shaped to it to protect it from getting damaged. This is the second time I've seen this. It comes out both past the outside of the frame and below it.

What type/model is it? Is that a slide out over it?

Looks more like electric than LP. The LP lines ive seen are solid hose not ribbed....have you been able to follow it to it's source?

The ribbing is a plastic sleeve over the copper line.

It was in a storage lot parked next to my trailer. I will try to get some more photos later. Thanks!

That metal piece is actually a plastic spring brace. When the slide opens it straightens out and supports the line which is probably electric. I had one of the spring braces brake on one end of my old Wildcat and it sagged and stuck out just like that until fixed.

Thanks, I can't find the photos of the other one like it (Crossroads TT which was mine), and this trailer is no longer there to look at it. On mine I re-routed the gas line so it was up inside the frame rails instead of sticking out.

Jim.

It's irrelevant now, but here's an old photo that show the LP line after I modified it. The red arrow was the LP iron pipe T which then went to the 2 copper lines covered with plastic split loom. The orange arrow line actually went UNDER the frame rail in a loop and came back in. I assume it was easier during manufacturing to just run the slack wherever instead of cutting and flaring the end. Thanks for the info.
