Tail lights full of water

I was winterizing my 2018 RSTS yesterday and noticed one of the flush mount LED Tail lights looked different . I looked closer and it had about 2" of water in it. It looks like it was installed correct and had a gasket, I think it is getting in around the lens and there is no drain. Now I am thinking of caulking all the lenses on the entire rig. Some of the side markers showed sings of water but they have a drain. Anyone else experience this or would it be wrong to caulk all the lights.

If they used cheap LED’s water will get into the lenses. I have had the same problem with the aftermarket LED marker lights on my F350. I would not seal them with water in them. Your options, drill a small drain on the bottom of the lights, drain, then seal the sides and top of each light leaving the bottom open. Another option would be to remove them, take them inside to dry up, then seal them with a quality silicon. And finally replace them completely with a quality LED, I would still seal them again and reinstall.

Even the best can leak if the sealant wasn’t applied correctly.
