Time for leaf springs

Springs are quite flat.. 1.5" difference from passenger side to driver side when measuring from the frame to the top of the axle tube. <1.5" clearance from the top of the tire to the wheel well. Looks like some rubbing has been happening.

I guess I know my next project. Parts are on the way!

It may be a good time to consider wet bolts if you don't already have them.

Yup, for sure. I ordered bronze bushings and wet bolts. The springs only came with plastic bushings.

If they are flat on one side of the RV and not the other its time to look at how its loaded..

Overloading on one side looks likely. But overloading over all is my suspicion. Have you ever weighed the trailer loaded and attached to your tow? Not including the tow vehicle. If you have time and the right scales you could also weight each side separately to know the whole truth.

Mine wore out (flattened) after 3 yrs. I weighed it a few times and was running right at max rating, which is easy to do due to not much CCC on these things. I ended up replacing the 7k axles with 8k axles. This will give me a little reserve capacity plus the 8k axles have larger 3" brakes as a bonus.

I imagine that a trailer is heavier on one side by design. My kitchen side has all appliances, food storage and closets. Not sure if it's enough to cause a spring to flatten or not but I always wondered about the added weight on the one side.

This TT was new to me at the end of last summer, so mileage and loading prior is unknown and they were already flat. It's all fixed up now. There's a new CAT scale close to me so getting a good weight will be easier now. I think that drivers side came up almost 3".
