Tornado Tank Flush- Vacuum Breaker Needed?

I just installed the Tornado Black Tank Flush system today. It was a very easy install which took under an hour from tool gathering to clean up.

Does anyone know if the Tornado has a built in check valve? If not what will prevent black water from entering the supply line once the tank level rises above the sprayer?

Also, looking for opinions as to whether or not I need to use the vacuum breaker that came with the kit? If I understand the purpose correctly, it will just drain supply water from the hose when the water supply is turned off or the pressure drops.

I had a Tornado in a previous TT. I do believe it has a built in check valve that is part of the mounting flange that attaches the unit to the tank.

The main purpose of the vacuum breaker is to allow the water in the hose to drain if it is not removed. Keeps it from freezing if the hose is left with water in it. I use one in my camper just to allow the os shower to drain but not on the tank rinse. I have a on/off valve that I close until the supply is removed then open it to drain. It has a check valve closer to the black tank but I like to have a back up.
