Trouble winterizing

We have a 2021 pinnacle 36 FBTS FIFTH wheel and for some reason we can not get the antifreeze to go into the trailer. Think we have everything all hooked up but not drawing the antifreeze.

Is the water pump operating normally (pumps water from the tank to outlets)? If yes, is the valve on the hose that is inserted in the bottle of antifreeze in the correct position?

Maybe some pics of your valves would help.

I'm not farmilar with the Pinnacles, but I believe you use the city water connection to pump the antifreeze in. If so, did you flip the cone washer, so the cone is press on the check valve?

How long of a hose are you using to draw the antifreeze?

So people have stated the need to elevate the jug a bit as the pump struggles to lift from the ground.

You probably do have everything hooked up correctly, but the washer/strainer combination at the main inlet likely needs to be turned over.

Before applying the short suction hose, turn that washer over so the strainer points in the opposite direction and the pump should pull from the “country” side (a bucket, jug, etc). While it doesn’t appear to make sense, it works.

I had the same problem with our 2021 NP310RLTS coming back to IL from TX 2 weeks ago. I almost gave up, but after a few min. of dry pumping, it finally primed. I also think I have a restriction somewhere because city pressure is low and it takes a long time to fill the fresh water tank. Maybe the Check Valve ? Dealer will look into it soon.

Have you opened a faucet? The water in the line needs a place to drain for the antifreeze to flow in.
