Unattended Battery - Predictable Results

For various reasons we haven't been camping in several months. We stopped by the storage a month ago and discovered no power anywhere. I checked the fuse and the fuse body came off in my hand. I assumed that the fuse broke and that was the problem.

Went today armed with some tools and discovered the battery was dry. The fuse contacts were fine, it hadn't blown, corroded, or any of the other assumptions I had. New assumption, my solar charging caused a boil over. I think I checked the fluid level in September, but I could be mistaken.

Lesson learned.
