Water heater bypass plastic valve replacement

Just opened up the bypass valves on my water heater and one of the valves is leaking . Once I have a new valve, I am looking for suggestions on how to remove the pex tube from the valve after the crimped clamp is of. I'm guessing it's a very tight fit an I don't want to damage the tubing. If possible.
Thanks Bill

No user serviceable parts in that valve?

I have not removed a fitting in my tt. However, the fittings and rings are very simular to my irrigation system. With that, I have pulled, and twisted, and often that works, sometimes I grab my heat gun and add a little heat, then pull and twist, while wearing leather gloves. The heat just softens the tubing.

You will probably need to cut the tube as close to the end of the valve as trying to pull out the old valve will be difficult. There likely will be enough slop in the length of the pex that you will have enough to insert a new valve and recrimp. Trying to reuse the old ends of the tube, assuming you are able to remove the old valve, has a high probability of leaking.

You can cut the crimped band carefully with a Dremel tool or hack saw if the existing pipe can’t be cut off at the valve. Usually there will be enough slack.

Thanks for the info. I'm traveling so once I land I'll tackle the problem . Cutting the pex may be my best option
