That tube is for winterizing with RV antifreeze. The tube goes into the A/F jug, and you'll notice two 1/4 turn valves. Opening the one closest to the clear tube allows the pump to pick up the A/F. Closing the other one shuts off the line from the fresh water tank, which allows the pump to prime and suck up the A/F. They both need to be manipulated to make the whole thing work, and then returned to the original configuration when done, so the pump once again, will draw water from the fresh water tank in the spring. That's why you see water (condensation) in the tube. You can do the same procedure with clean water in the spring, to flush the pink stuff out of the pump.
