Wax on, Wax off

In a quest for a better auto wax, I came across Ice by Turtle Wax. I ran across a Youtube video that did a comparison using this wax as one of the samples. Yeah, I realize it was an ad that was made to appear like the average Joe Blow doing a comparison but it still got my attention. For 6 bucks I figured I couldn't go too far wrong.

I've used many different waxes over the years and this is the easiest one I found to do the job. It's a matter of spray on and wipe off. Does a good job of making it shine and there's no hard buffing involved to get it off. No doubt I'm behind the times as I'd never heard of spray on/wipe off before.

Anyway I thought I'd share this with you jokers that are foolish enough to wax your rigs (me). Don't know anything about the durability but there's no wax around that doesn't have to be applied a couple of times a year.

Oh, and another bonus is that you don't have to worry about getting it on plastic or rubber and leaving an indelible white finish,

Wax on wax off

I use meguiars ceramic spray, love it and what a shine. Follow direction completely. Yes it is weird that you spray it on a wet serface and hose it off the dry, but it works

Yeah, it looks like the Meguiars Ceramic is another good choice. I'm just behind the times as to what's out there. Getting a bit too tired to wipe a regular wax on and off.

I’ve been using Meguiars Hybrid ceramic wax for a while now and it is great. I have recently started using turtle wax ice seal n shine and it is great as well. For under $10, the TW is tough to beat!

I have used 303 for the two plus years we've owned our rig. Easy to apply and looks great.

I'm hoping for at least 6 months. This is my first use so I won't know for a while.

So many spray on and wipe off wax choices out there now. I think they all do a pretty good job. I'm not buying anymore until I use up the 2-3 gallons I currently have, Lol.

No not really but every time someone suggests a new wax I have to go out and buy it, Lol. I've got Meguiars, Mothers, Beadmaker etc all sitting on the shelf and all do a great job. Probably got enough wax inventory to do my truck and camper 100 times over!

I’ve got a couple bottles of wax myself [emoji3]

For now, I’m sticking with Meguiars Hybrid ceramic wax and the turtle wax ice seal n shine.

Oh yeah, another good one that I have is Meguiars ultimate fast finish. It’s in an aerosol can and it’s great as well.

When I figured out how good the new spray-on waxes were, I had to throw away three or four of my old waxes that weren't nearly as good.

I really like the Meguiar's X-press after a wash.

Oh jeez, that's the one that sucked me in and got me started on the spray wax thing. Interesting comparison and thought maybe it was an ad. Like I originally said, I ended up buying the Turtle Wax cuz it was cheap. Sure works good.

Funny...you could have taken that picture from my garage as I have everything you do!

Right now I still use Meguiars x-press wax after every washing. I use a pump up garden sprayer to apply it quickly and easily. I’ve been using the TW seal n shine on the front cap and it does a great job of preventing the bugs from sticking.

About once every 3-4 months I’ll use the Hybrid ceramic wax to rejuvenate the protection
