Window covering will not stay up

The window covering will not stay up. It goes up easily but slides back down when you let loose. Does any one know how to tighten up the covering?

If the style of your shade is the pleated type with a small cord running through the pleats, where the cord winds around the post that's screwed to the wall at the bottom just needs to be loosened up a bit, and turned slightly to tension the cord, then retighten the post screw. Do this on both sides (or for each cord if there's 3 or 4). You may have to experiment a couple of times, until it's where you like it.
