Thanks for the help, I'm new to this lol just bought a 2013, turned the ac on and it smells terrible so everything I read says clean b the fins and clean the pan, filters, ect..any help with that would be great !!

Which model?

Who said you don't have a walkable roof? AFAIK, all modern jayco's have a walkable roof. My 2011 x23B does.

This brochure for 2013 Jayfeather Ultra Lites
http://www.jayco.com/files/downloads...lename_189.pdf

Talks about the Magnum Truss system Jayco uses on page 8. With 3/8" decking to provide "fully walkable roof".

If you're concerned. Pick up a 3/8" piece of plywood to lay up there. Just be careful when positioning it so that you don't rip the roof membrane.

I took a look at the 2013 manuals...it doesn't say anything about walking on the roof except for a short blurb about a having a roof ladder.

Email Jayco directly if you wish.

How do you think they got the AC and vents installed? 2+ people stomping around up there at the factory. Walk on it.

If you are worried, contact Jayco and ask them. Make sure you have the TT serial # handy.

You can walk on it. Don't bring chairs up there and walk the races. You are fine for maintenance. I put the stabilizers down and wrap the ladder in rags, where it will touch the wall, as I put a small tear in the roof membrane the first time I was up on the roof.
