Got it done today. I found that white valve you guys referred to. It was indeed backwards and hard to get to.

So..to winterize a 2017 28BHBE, you'll need to turn black valve on water pump (under kitchen sink) towards clear hose and turn the black valve (bottom of bypass) and the white valve (top of bypass) to where they align with each other. Those are behind the hot water heater.
