X23B Slide Gearbox Woes

After a year and half hiatus from camping because of work, we returned with a vengeance in August making a number of campouts through last weekend. After the last one, the slide did not make the clutch noise upon retraction. That was the last time the slide worked.

The motor is just fine. When I removed it, metal shavings were found from the gearbox above. The gears inside the gearbox must be stripped. The slideout is a Dexter Chassis Group center drive flush floor model. The gearbox is a slim, rectangular housing attached to an angle bracket bolted directly to the slideout frame.

And, it's next to impossible to find parts information about the gearbox online. I have reached out to my local-ish parts department for more information. However, it would be nice to get a price to compare. Does anyone know a part number? Or price? Thanks in advance.

After removing the motor and then the gearbox from the center drive frame, it's a $5 part that's the culprit--a sheared roll pin. Grrr! I am going to ask for an exploded parts diagram to remove the rest of the shaft in order to repair the gearbox.

I will add pictures for context.
