Campground Rage

A case of campground rage has left a 26-year-old man dead at Northland, New Zealand's Whangaruru Beach Front Camp. Matthew Smith died when, after being annoyed by loud music being played by another RVer who refused to turn the music down, Smith took out a knife and cut the rig's power cord. But that was a bad move as he was immediately electrocuted. The situation has brought new fire to New Zealand regulations requiring electrical safety devices on campground electrical supplies. Officials for the campground say their park was exempt from the devices due to its age.

Wow... if you are that upset, maybe you unplug it first? Or shut off the circuit...

As I skimmed this, I was sure they were going to call for regulations on knives..

Well, he achieved his objective.
He doesn't have to listen to the neighbor's loud music anymore.
Sure hope he likes the harp music that guy with wings is playing on the adjacent cloud!

"Divine Justice"? Guess he should have gone to the CG owner who's job it is to take care of unruly campers. He had to call the police anyway!!!

wow!!! my camp site can occasionally be a bit loud late at night when camping and I know when this is the case I am wrong. I have been asked on a two occasions to tone it down and knowing I am wrong I have always apologized and offered a drink to the complaining person. Sounds like a polite request may have worked better!!!
