26000 combined weight seems like a real heavy load. Our Dodge dully is about 7400 and our 16 Eagle dry is 10000.Would take a lot to get to 26 K. Thanks

The dually 7400# seems light. I've scaled my setup loaded for travel and full truck fuel tank and I'm at 23680# last time I CAT scaled. The truck on it's own is 8800#.

It’s not the actual weight but the GVRW of each. Your dually has a 13k GVRW plus your eagles GVRW (12k?) and you see you can get to the 26000 pounds pretty quickly

Wonder how many states see it that way. So I would assume if your traveling through with a license from a state who goes by the actual total combined weight,you're OK. But we have been talking about moving to Texas so that's good to know. So in their eyes, it's OK to push the limit of a single tire truck to be under the 26,000lb. limit. Good Thinking!

PA for sure offers a non-commercial class A and B just for individuals pulling or driving RV's or other vehicles that fall over that magic 26000# GVWR or combination rating. There were several posts about it on this board recently.
