Bono, where did you come up with that? I would love to see that listing for the 2017 Eagle HT.

Thanks Bono!

Well done, my friend! This is great info! I love several of the enhancements, especially the rear camera ready and Keyed alike features, as well as the new TV antenna, which from the description sounds like the King Jack antenna. Can't wait to see what they've done to the exterior graphics!

Thanks again!

Deposit on 2017 Octane T32C

Just put a deposit on a 2017 Octane T32C via RV Express on April 8, 2016. As of this date, the customary 2017 price increase was not in play so my order was the 2016 price. I went gen-less because I have (2) new Yamaha Inverter 2000 watt Gens which I will pair up. The unit will come with gen prep so I can add a gen later or for possible future resale. I went with the standard 13.5K A/C and 50 amp upgrade which includes 2nd A/C prep. I plan on installing a second Coleman 11K A/C for the bedroom which should keep the amp draw to a minimum. I also plan on upgrading the wheels and tires to 17.5 6K lbs. grey steel rims and Sailun S637 tires which may afford for a bit more hauling capacity and absolutely better service life. At about 3300 lbs. cargo capacity, it will be tight because I have a 1600 lbs. John Deere Gator 850D diesel UTV and by the time all gear is added up with full single 40 gallon fuel tank (new for 2017 replacing the 2 fuel cells on the 2016 model), full water tank, full propane, etc. such will leave very little for other items. Regarding the wheel and tire upgrade, I wanted to ask if any axle modifications will be needed to replace the standard 16" wheels to the 17.5s? I'm hoping the axles won't need to be flipped and such because that may determine whether I just decide to upgrade the 16" tires when the time comes.

My dealer confirmed that it will be a 2016, probably the last 16 run for the White Hawks...

2017 White Hawk Photos?

Thanks to our friend Bono we have a listing of the 2017 enhancements to the White Hawk line, which includes a new exterior graphics package. I've been searching for 2017 White Hawk product photos but haven't found any yet, so I wrote to Jayco directly, asking if they have anything they can share and, if not, when can customers expect to see what the '17s look like. If they provide me with anything I'll share here immediately.

Has anyone else had any luck?

Photos of 2017 White Hawk Line

Friends,

The attached images were sent to me by Jayco in response to an inquiry I made. My wife and I wanted to see what the 2017 upgrades and changes looked like, as we've got a new 28DSBH on order.

Jayco was unable to provide photos of a 2017 28DSBH, but they were kind enough to provide nine photos of the new 24MBH. If you've ordered a 2017 White Hawk model of any kind, you'll get a good sense of what to expect on your trailer by looking at these photos.

Interior: note the new brushed nickel hardware (all handles, hinges and doorknobs, as well as the overhead dinette light fixture). There's a new (shorter) tile back-splash in the kitchen. The wood fascia surround for the slide-out is different (and I think improved). There's now a double bank of overhead LED lights running the length of the interior, as well as slide-out sidewall windows, both of which will make things much brighter. Those slide-out windows were a 2016.5 addition and will improve air circulation as well. The kitchen sink is now a double bowl again (they've gone back and forth on this over the model years), and the faucet is a much more upscale pull down sprayer model. The kitchen counter-top edge style is also more square and less rounded. The smoked glass in the cabinetry, as well as the flooring, also appear a little changed. Lastly, the color scheme in these photos is "canyon," which is new for 2017.

Exterior: the outside now sports new graphics, and the "White Hawk" font style is changed as well. You can see the new television antenna, which appears to be a King Jack model. The aluminum rims are a different style for 2017, and one of the nicest features on the trailer is the way the front diamond plate now wraps around the sides of the A-frame, providing further protection to the front underside of the trailer. While you can't see it in the photos, all locks are now keyed alike as well, and the trailer is both backup camera and "Sway Control" ready (still options, but pre-wired should you want to add the option later).

All in all, my family really likes these updates to the look and functionality of the trailer. It still resembles the 2016 model line which won us over, and yet it feels just a little fresher inside and out. I think Jayco has done a great job. Hats off to them for sharing these photos a little early (according to them, their 2017 White Hawk model year brochure won't be ready until July). Enjoy!

We were told that the Java and Meadow interiors are staying but Havana and Almond are going away. Ours will be Java. Also being told 2017 exterior will be a very sharp looking Silver/Gray. We are really hoping all above plays out and ours is a '17 as it should look really nice behind my black Chevy.
Congrats! I was looking at the same one, don't forget pics.

I just noticed a couple of more modifications in the photos. The edge profile on the night stand tops has changed (just like the kitchen counter). Instead of a bullnose it's an eased edge. A bigger change is to window treatments. Other than the bedroom windows, in 2016 all other windows had valences with side pieces that ran the whole height of the window. For 2017, all windows have a more traditional valence at the top of the window and then actual side CURTAINS, which I prefer. One, it looks less "travel trailer" and more residential, and two, it allows you to draw the curtains over the pleated shades for further privacy/darkening.

Anyone else notice other changes in the photos?

2017 White Hawks are Coming off the Assembly Line

We ordered our 28 DSBH on 1 April and were told it might take 10-12 weeks until delivery. Today we learned that our unit has already been completed and is in transit to our dealer. The dealer estimates arrival tomorrow and we'd pick up the unit later next week. If that all holds, it will have been just 7 weeks from order to delivery, a nice surprise.

Once we receive ours we'll be sure to post several interior and exterior photos, as there have been several changes for this model year and there's virtually no photos available yet. If anyone else receives their 2017 White Hawk soon (regardless of model), I hope you'll post some pics too so we can all see how they look this year!
