'12 31FS entertainment center

Hello all,
I'm new to this site but we have owned our pre-owned 2012 31FS since Nov 2015. We have the entertainment center installed over the cab with the pullout twin bed. Luckily, we haven't used the TV much since we've been enjoying camping with the kids but we're starting to take longer drives and they are getting bored. It is a nice set up since it has storage up there but I have found that the TV mount set up makes it nearly impossible for changing anything behind the TV or adding DVD players/game systems/etc. without removing the 4 screws holding the trim piece, 4 screws holding the TV up, and removing the TV entirely. Has anyone run into this before? I think it would be an easy fix if I replaced the mount with something that extends out but then I still have the trim piece to screw in/out. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I have a 2013 31FS with the entertainment center. What I did was pull off the right panel next to the tv to access the back. I did have to remove the left Velcro plate which held that panel on and Re-glue it when I was done. I used a picture of the back of the tv to navigate around with my hands. I plugged in 2 hdmi cables and ran them back out thru where I pulled the panel off. Took me almost an hour to do but worked out ok. Hope this helps.
