12inch Florescent lights

So I have the 12inch T5 8watt light fixtures in my 06 Seneca 35gs. I had replaced 2 new bulbs in 3 fixtures, and one of the fixtures won't light, even changing the bulbs around doesn't help. What's the chance the circuit board in the fixture is shot?[emoji848]

Thanks, Krappa

Yes, unfortunately, those lights have a ballast (the item in the photo with the B sticker on it.) which can go bad as well. They are easy to replace as for cost it varies.

Mine went out a few year ago and I ordered a LED version from Amazon. It works much better than the old bulbs and has 2 brightness settings.

Are you talking about led bulb replacements or the whole fixture change.

look at these, they appear to be T5 Bulbs, you will need to remove the ballast and not sure how these connect but it should do the trick.

We will wait since we replaced all our bulbs just last year. And at $30/set of LED times 6 that can really add up!

Whole fixture change unless LEX bulbs fit the existing fixture.

I did a similar replacement for 8' shop lights. The replacements are expensive but it's a simple matter of rewiring the fixture to take the ballast out of the circuit. I'm betting you can find an entire fixture with LEDs for cheaper.

I am not an electrician so I was hoping someone could steer me to the location for whole fixture for replacement. I thank you so much for your input and time.

I just replaced the remaining 5 fixtures. They are:
THIN-LITE #DIST-LED622P, $78 each.
