If you blow up the first pic, it looks like there is a white wire going to the negative terminal at the top right.

Yes. That is correct. I’m sorry it was so hard to see. The bay doesn’t slide out very far.

Answer to your original question is - yes you can pretty much hook up the solar panel controller output directly to the battery. Like jumping a car.


Make sure the solar suitcase has (1) a solar charge controller built in and (2) a diode to prevent *discharging*.


Most Solar Suitcases have both.
Maybe post the make and model suitcase you're buying and we can help more.

No worries, it just piqued my interest so I had to blow it up to check . Now that we know there are both + and - connections, I'll let those who are versed in this stuff comment, as the only solar I have is a small unit plugged into the cigarette lighter to keep the chassis battery from draining (found that was a good idea after trying to open her up but didn't have enough power for the key fob to work).
