12v power for closet lights

I have a 2007 29B Melbourne that I'd like to put 12v lights in the bedroom closets but I'm not sure where the best place is to tap into a 12v wire? Between the two closets are two stacked drawers, behind the drawers there is easy access to a bunch of wires, I'm not sure which ones are 12v and if I do figure that out I need to make sure they are always hot unlike a tail or brake light. I was wondering if anyone else had tried to tap into their 12v system or if they knew how I could get a wiring diagram for this model?

Marinco makes a 12V test light that you use by sticking a probe through the wire insulation. When you hit a hot wire, it lights up. Walmart sells them. you'll also need a ground. That will be a white wire and it doesn't matter which one, all of the grounds are the same.

How about something like this??

Battery operated LED puck lights? No wires to worry about and they even pivot and swivel! And batteries are included! I may pick up a 3 pack for my TT!

3 pack for under $20 bucks!

Contact Jayco with your vin number. They will send you a wiring schematic for your MH. 12VDC power are single strands of wires, in various colors. 120VAC wiring is just like in your house, is in a larger white or yellow sheath that house three wires (Hot (black), neutral (white), ground (bare)). On my 2012 all the wires are color coded, so they are easy to track, and grounds are always white, hopefully they did that in 2007.

Thank you for the info, I'll contact Jayco to get a schematic.
