I towed a 2000 CRV for 4 years. I was going to install Roadmaster bulbs but couldn't find a spot that I thought would work. I ended up using magnetic lights instead. I have found the information in the Blue Ox installation instructions better than any other brand. You may try looking up where they recommend by downloading their tow kit instructions from their web sight. They typically include the light bulb location in the instruction that tells you how to install the tow mounts.

Good luck.

Another piece of advice, adhere strictly to the transmission lubrication protocol. Don't ask me how I know!
