2007 Jayco Seneca subwoofer wiring?

2007 Jayco Seneca subwoofer wiring?
Hello!

In the overhead entertainment center I located a wire pair marked subwoofer that I traced into the ceiling. I haven't located the other end. Anyone have an idea as to where the wiring leads to?

I believe some of the ceiling speakers are not working right since the original unit was replaced by an 80 watt per channel Yamaha unit..... but that's another project.

Thanks

Steve

Subwoofer location.

Hi Steve. I have a 2007 Seneca 34 ss. The subwoofer is located under the fridge. There is a wood access panel that needs to be removed.

If it's a 35GS it's probably under the kitchen sink to the left.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll check both locations. The furnace blower is under the fridge.... Yamaha requires a powered woofer, so it will need checked out.

Thanks again

Steve

On my 2008 36MS, the subwoofer is under the kitchen counter, rearward of the stove. You can see it by removing the electrical fuse panel, although I can't quite reach it. It is NOT a powered subwoofer.

I'd like to remove the subwoofer, since it's doing nothing, but can't figure out how to do so without some major dissection of the cabinet. I wonder if it would fit through the outside radio "waterproof" housing -- anybody ever remove the outside radio surround? Is it simple to just screw back in or would I need to replace the gasket / seal? If I could remove the non powered one, maybe I could squeeze in a small powered one...?

I've replaced the "house" surround sound stereo and didn't bother hooking up this non powered subwoofer since my stereo system required a powered subwoofer.

Can't you remove the drawer under the stove and get it out from there?

Sadly, no. The kitchen in the 36MS is slightly bigger than most and it's physically two separate spaces underneath.

I can see the subwoofer if I remove either of my electrical panels but there's not much wriggle room with the electrical panels and the subwoofer wouldn't fit through that opening anyway.
