2011 FS Battery issue

First time I have posted, but have used the forum to great advantage for several years. Finally I have a question that leaves me baffled. I keep the GH31 stored under cover and access to shore power. Due to the quarantine, I had not visited for several weeks. When I visited recently I found the coach and chassis batteries were completely dead. I checked the shore power and it is active. Did not have the proper tools to investigate further, but hope to get there today. Maybe a power surge shut down everything. I am guessing a breaker may have popped. My question is how can I move my slides out to access the fuse/breaker panel? Appreciate your comments.

When you say under cover do you mean, structure of fabric? If a structure, jump start the chassis, let that battery charge and try using the emergency start button. Of course it will take 2 people.

I'm guessing you turned OFF the battery disconnect. converter could not charge the batteries. Circuit breakers arn't gonna help you. If you can access your batteries it would be easier to put on a charger then move the slides.

My 2006 Seneca had Powergear mechanism. Once you disengaged the electric motor there was a 3/4 inch hex on the end of the rod that you could ratchet the slide “manually “ in and out. Took a lot with a breaker bar but could be done.

Thanks for the input. I went back and seem to have solved the problem. For what it is worth, here is what I did. I was able to get the V10 engine started. Then I was able to start the generator. I noted as soon as the gen started the Air Conditioner kicked in. I noodled it through and am thinking when I last visited the RV to run the generator, I ran the AC to create a load. Apparently I did not shut off the AC when I shut down the generator. I am thinking since the rig was on shore power, the AC came on at some point due to thermostat setting.
When I shut down the generator this time, I made sure everything was off and then tapped the DC power switch. I then checked voltage on the inverter and saw Code 05 and OL.
I am guessing there must have been an interrupt to the shore power and the AC was trying to run with 12v inverter power which drained the coach battery. I would not have guessed that would happen! I am also guessing that since the inverter was reading OL it must have shut down everything. ?? In truth I am doing a lot of guessing since this whole subject is above my pay grade. Any comments are appreciated. I hope to learn from the experience.

Sounds like a logical conclusion. I would be a little worried about the health of the batteries if they totally discharged and sat that way for awhile. Might want to test them.
