2011 Jayco Melbourne 26A house battery wires

My setup has multiple wires on both the positive and negative posts of the house battery. I am unsure about which post a green coloured wire should be connected to. The positive or the negative post of the house battery. Any advice is appreciated!

Colour? Colour?

Any chance you can trace the green wire to its origin? Did it come disconnected? Do you know what device it powers?

Other than that, if you feel you must reconnect it, I'd probably try grounding the wire first and see if function is restored. That seems safer, to me, that connecting it to the positive terminal.

Grab a "torch" and see if you can trace the wire first.

The one green wire I can see at all with some difficulty, in my Melbourne, is that it is going to the chassis frame.

I’m by far not the person to give advice as many here have helped me. That being said I checked my loose white wire with a multimeter and determined it was not connected to anything. Come to find out it was an open neutral for the solar panel if I install one.
