2011 melbourne remodel

I bought a 2011 Melbourne 28F in August of 2011 that had the semi-circular Dinette. At first we rally liked the dinette, but as time went by we grew weary of twisting our head to watch any TV as the TV was hard mounted in the center front. I recently decided to remove the dinette and put in Recliners and out an extended reach articulating arm on the TV so we could watch TV easier. We also remove the barrel chair to the right of the entry door and put in a drop leaf table with a storage cabinet. The pictures are attached. It was very easy. The chairs came from Camping World and the cabinets were locally made.

Wow, I really like that drop leaf table and matching cabinet. Your cabinet maker did a nice job.

Question, How hard was it to take out the dinette? Did you have to destroy it to get it out? Would you ever be able to put it back?

It came right out. Several pieces but mostly intact. I sold it to a friend who put it in his new 5th Wheel. I still have the barrel chair.

Very nice job Bill-- I am looking to do the TV arm modification as well... What brand and model did you use, and are you happy with it?
