2013 & 2014 Seneca Owners

Looking to buy a 2015 Seneca 37TS and wanted to know Pro's and Con's of existing owners. Issues, likes, dislikes, any information. Thanks in advance!

firedog….one of our main dislikes of our 2014 Seneca 37TS is the on demand hot water heater. It takes way too much time for the hot water to appear at the faucets which means that much of the water is wasted to the grey tank which could be an issue if you aren't camping with a sewer hook up. The fan in the bathroom does not open automatically. My wife can barely reach the fan to open it. If you order it, get the queen bed because the king takes so much room, it is hard to get in and out at the sides. Pros include high ceilings for someone who is 6'5". There is lots of good storage outside and inside also. It was easy to cook in the kitchen. However, we had the dealer put in another outlet in the kitchen as there was only one. Don't travel with the glass plate in microwave. Our first vacation had us on some very rough interstates. The door of the microwave opened and the glass plate shattered on floor. Lots of slivers of glass to clean. The heat and air conditioning worked well. The leather couches are nice and comfy. Hope this helps.

Love the rig however there are a few things:

The wife is 5'6" and complains about the cabinet height, nice high ceilings = nice high cabinets, she needs a stool to get items out.

Not sold on the tank less water heater as it does not seem to mix water very well.

Owners manual pretty weak on full operation instructions on certain systems.

King size bed is comfy but there are no night stands and difficult making the bed.

Small closet.

That item about the hot water heater can be resolved by reading the tag/web site regarding the usage, from the manufacturer.
It seems that the hot faucet alone is the mixer! If you turn it on a bit, you get hot water, if you increase the flow, that is open the faucet more, you increase the amount of cold water passing through the heater, thereby making the water cooler. ( less hot) . Try it. No cold water faucet needed.
